Business Case
The Asia Client Solutions team is responsible for the delivery of Solutions capabilities across APAC. The team works alongside wider Schroders Solutions, APAC Client Group teams and other investment desks the team is responsible for the design, delivery and post launch support to wide array of investors.
Launched at the end of 2022 and based in Singapore, the team supports GBP2.8bn of exposures across multiple mandates and has seen a significant growth both in terms of AUM and complexity of mandates that it supports. With the aim of enabling the team to continue growth trajectory there is the need to add a Solution Manager to the team.

Our solutions experts provide investment and advisory services to pension schemes, official institutions, insurance companies, individual investors, intermediaries and wealth providers worldwide.
Who we’re looking
We’re looking for a mid-level Solutions Manager to join our Asia Client Solutions team reporting to the Head of Asia Client Solutions and to be based in Singapore. You will have a crucial role in establishing and developing the Schroders Solutions presence in the region and strengthening connectivity with colleagues in London. While exposure to different areas will be provided, it is expected that main focus area will be working with Family Offices and other institutional investors including pension schemes.
What you’ll do
- Work with the Head of Asia Client Solutions and APAC Client Group to identify new business opportunities. Represent the team in internal and external events to promote its capabilities and support business growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of market opportunity from a Solutions perspective
- Develop your own network across target markets direct and through appropriate intermediaries.
- Engage with internal and external clients supporting the Client Group in identifying and clearly articulating investment challenges faced by our clients.
- Partner with London based Schroders Solutions colleagues with the aim of bringing best of bread solutions to investors in the region. This will include co-creation of innovative investment solutions that leverage on existing capabilities, take ownership of implementation phase ensuring that promised client outcomes are met and post implementation phase.
- Alongside other team members, support existing business and ensuring that it is managed according to Schroders governance framework
The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience at an asset management organisation, investment consultancy, or insurance firm
- Experience in providing advice or solution design to institutional investors
- Experience in legal and investment guideline elements of client agreements and investment management agreements
- A consultative engagement mindset
- An ability to show initiative, value teamwork, effectively prioritise tasks and juggle competing business requirements
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), presentation and sales skills
The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That Will Help
- Demonstrable coding skills and familiarity with Matlab, R, Python or equivalent
- Preferable if the experience is with a focus on family office or pension schemes
