Childcare Teacher

The Childcare Teacher will be responsible for creating a quality learning environment and a secure environment for children. She will work with team members to co-design the curriculum together with the in-house Curriculum Specialist, and will integrate innovative teaching & learning practices in her implementation of the curriculum. Most importantly, she will embrace and cultivate values that will prepare children at the centre to be lifelong learners and contributing members of the society.

The Childcare Teacher will partner parents & the community to foster children’s holistic development.

Teachers will be provided with basic training to work with children with mild developmental needs. For those who are keen to work more closely with children with special needs, opportunities are available for them to undergo additional training to become Learning Support Educators (LSEd).

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player
• Experience in the Early Childhood is an added advantage
