Position
This position is for one of International Trade Business strategic programme aiming at providing innovative IT solutions to the front, middle and back offices in order to maintain position as a worldwide leader in international trade finance offering.
It is a multi years programme started in 2019 covering:
- Integration of systems with blockchain based trade and commodity finance platforms such as Komgo/Konsole/MarcoPolo and Trade Finance Registry
- Building a robust platform to support Global Commodity Trades
- Automation of processes through AI platform and usage of RPA
The solutions are jointly built in Paris and Singapore.
As your main responsibility, you will design, develop and document IT solutions, with a focus on the integration of Trade Finance applications (Finastra software product) into the enterprise application ecosystem.
You will ensure the performance of the delivered products and adherence with bank policies.
Main responsibilities
In close interaction with the projects stakeholders, you will
- Liaise with IT business lines for clarification and understanding of requirements.
- Draft functional specifications and solutions in collaboration with technical IT specialists and present functional aspects/impacts of changes/evolutions to the stakeholders.
- Customize the application, develop document templates and advices.
- Prepare test cases, conduct functional and non-regression tests.
- Deliver fully tested products on-time and with quality up to production.
- Support the technical development team on functional aspects.
- Provide Level 3 support and production roll-outs.
- Handle multiple projects at the same time.
Qualifications and Profile
Education
- Minimum degree holder in Accounting, Banking & Finance or Information Systems.
Functional Skills
- Around 3 years experience as a business analyst in banking/international trade finance domain.
- Knowledge with trade finance products like documentary credits/collections and guarantees.
- Proficient in analysis, functional design/specifications, testing/QA and presentations.
- Around 2 years experience working in Agile/Lean environment.
- Around 2 years experience working with software vendors.
- Knowledge with Fusion Trade Innovation (Finastra product) is a big plus.
Technical Skills
- Practical working knowledge of SQL.
- Practical working knowledge of application design tools such UML.
- Practical working knowledge of automated testing tools Selenium and HP ALM/UFT.
- Efficient working with Microsoft Office tools.
