Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full set of accounting functions and activities which include preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance, subsidiary ledger reports
- Lead, train and supervise a team of accounts assistants and/or finance executives
- Perform monthly closing reports, variance analysis and management reporting
- Perform forex accounting and reporting
- Perform quarterly and yearly tax submissions including GST and estimated tax computations
- Manage tax, audit, corporate secretarial or external regulatory matters and liaise with external parties as required
- Ensure compliance of financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations
- Initiate process or policy improvements where needed
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure intercompany balances tally across the books
- Take on lead roles in ad-hoc projects and activities assigned
Requirements:
- Accounting degree or professional degree
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role of Senior Finance Executive
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Agility to change, mature, independent, hands-on, able to work under stress and have a strong sense of responsibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within tight deadlines
