Responsibilities:
- Undertake detailed fundamental analysis, scrutinize the targets’ financials
- Undertake due diligence on the targets
- Research on wide-ranging topics that include macro, thematic, industry and company.
- Assist in developing models, tools, and systems to enhance the firm’s research, analysis and implementation capabilities.
- Monitoring investment portfolio, news flow on various topics to help achieve our target return with proper risk metrics.
- Assist in the trading and daily reporting.
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent from a reputable university.
- Experience in financial services, preferably in a research or analytical role.
- Highly numerate, has an eye for details, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders.
- Ability to work with large amount of complex data, as well as translating that into written analysis.
- Detailed, meticulous and have strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in financial analysis, financial modelling and Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint / Word.
- Must be capable of analysing and interpreting financial accounts and other disclosures.**
- Must be capable of undertaking company valuations, including constructing financial models.**
