We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated Automation and Manual Tester to carry out testing for digital marketing projects within the banking industry.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma or degree in computer science or related fields;
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing;
- Hands on experience with Selenium, Tosca or other automation testing tools
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-oriented, with a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
- Experience in UAT testing and using project management tools like Confluence and Jira;
- Strong verbal and written communication is required;
- Good team player with strong organizational skills and can work independently with minimum guidance.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in the banking industry and prior work experience in testing digital marketing, contextual marketing, and workflow..
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Business Analysts and technical specialists during requirement gathering, reviewing and approving requirements;
- Evaluate and suggest suitable testing approaches, scenarios, and criteria, seeking stakeholder agreement;
- Create comprehensive documentation covering data flow, design, business solutions, and testing strategies;
- Regularly update stakeholders and management with structured reports, emphasizing key risks or issues;
- Analyze lending process documentation to grasp business needs and convert them into test cases and scenarios;
- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for assigned projects;
- Perform regression, functional, and data testing to ensure platform robustness;
- Report, prioritize, and track identified defects;
- Manage issue tracking, coordinating with users and tech teams for resolution;
- Actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure timely delivery;
- Prepare relevant documentation outlining test scope, cases, and overall testing progress;
- Assist and lead in automating various test cases with vendors.
