Responsibilities
Packing and Shipping:
- Prepare and pack products for shipping in compliance with established packing standards and safety guidelines.
- Verify the accuracy of product quantities, quality, and labeling before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and methods to ensure safe and secure transport.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies, damage, or defects to the Warehouse Manager.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the inventory management system as necessary.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in stock replenishment.
Communication:
- Collaborate with other team members, including warehouse staff and shipping personnel, to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Diploma in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing, or operations management.
- Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Tech savvy - Microsoft Office, especially Excel Spreadsheet ,with previous experience handling WMS
