Responsibilities:
- Manage the nomination / acceptance of the performing vessel including compliance procedures.
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the chartered vessels including ETA notices, and cargo readiness
- Coordinate with agents for the arrival / departure formalities of the chartering vessels including berthing and un-berthing.
- Monitor the day-to-day loading / discharging of the vessels.
- Provide vessel’s arrival, berthing, loading / discharging, departure information to Chartering Manager.
- Resolve charter party and bills of lading disputes.
- Prepare laytime statements, and negotiate demurrage, detention and despatch.
- Manage payment of freight, and demurrage / detention if any.
Requirements:
- minimum A Levels / Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline,
- three (3) years of relevant experiences with dry bulk cargoes, strong analytical and planning skills, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment, and a growth mindset with the potential to develop his / her abilities and talents; to learn on the job.
