Job Description
In this position, you will be tasked with facilitating and maintaining the vision or roadmap for change management and risk assessment systems at Micron; manage a team that is aimed at reducing overall process and product variation which will result in higher process margins, increased yield and quality.
You will work with Frontend Fabs and other central team resources (SMAI, OCT, CPIE, TD and IT) to provide strategic direction for change management and risk assessment systems and help coordinate the systems implementation across multiple facilities internationally.
You will be expected to develop your team, establish goals, provide coaching and training, and conduct performance appraisals. You will also identify staffing needs, recruit, interview, and make hiring decisions for your team.
Responsibilities and Tasks Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and refine a change management systems roadmap and quality mindset programs going forward for WW alignment and continuous improvement of equipment and change control practices.
- Partner with Fabs, SMAI, OCT, CPIE, TD, and IT to ensure all business needs and processes are properly documented, validated, and escalated as needed.
- Provide technical leadership and direction
- Evaluate global needs for new change control and risk assessment systems.
- Cultivate global relationships. Support and mentor quality engineering teams worldwide by providing guidance.
- Work with subject matter experts to identify business process gaps and Best Known Methods (BKMs).
- Evaluate the quality of data collected, drawing conclusions based on this data and initiating follow-up action items.
- Present and discuss in depth all projects with respective key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate good project management, presentation, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate being a "Team builder" with strong focus on effective team dynamics and distributed responsibilities.
- Develop eventual reports, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and creating an action plans to work on the areas each individual needs to improve on.
- Manage roll-out goals to eventual reports, assigning goals that both meet the company objectives and areas of focus and the employee development.
- Write annual performance plans, describing employee expectations and performance and providing feedback and follow up as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication with demonstrated managerial and supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Micron MFG execution and control systems.
- Demonstrated excellent innovative thinking, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiating and collaboration skills and has partnered successfully with different cross functional groups.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal forms.
- Successfully demonstrated skill in obtaining results through individual contribution and the coordination of multiple teams.
- Strong customer focus skills and is dedicated to meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
