Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs.
Monitor and maintain high levels of food quality and presentation.
- Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
Create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Schedule staff shifts to meet operational needs.
- Customer Service:Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.
Interact with customers to gather feedback and improve service.
Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Financial Management:Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Analyze financial reports and implement cost-control measures.
Prepare and manage budgets.
- Marketing and Promotion:Work with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies.
Participate in community events to promote the restaurant.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Training and Development:Conduct ongoing training programs for staff to enhance skills and performance.
Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including kitchen and front-of-house procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
