Business Development Executive
Aflex Ships Equipment Pte Ltd was established in year 2003 with the base in Singapore and regional offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Shanghai, Hong Kong, India, Dubai and Netherlands. We are one of the leading suppliers focusing on the delivery of quality and cost-effective pumps and parts to Marine and shipping industry.
We are an accredited ISO 9001:2015 company. Our core competencies include supplying all types of marine pumps, pump spares and pollution control equipment. In addition, we offer pump testing and pump seal conversion.
We are now seeking a potential candidate who desires to pursue his/her personal development and a challenging & rewarding career in our dynamic company. Products training will be provided for the newcomers.
Overall job objectives:
- To take responsibility for territories development & to achieve assigned sales target.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proactively seeking and creating new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
- Constantly develop new market and new customer.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
- Working closely with other departments to provide prompt and excellent customer services.
- Managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads, and ensuring timely follow-ups to convert prospects into clients.
- Providing regular reports on sales activity, performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to management.
- Handling & solving feedback raised by customer and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 Years experience in business development, sales, or a related field is valuable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Networking skills to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Aggressive in sales and developing sales strategies.
- Positive attitude and adaptable to changes.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in Marine Industry, Pump and general engineering will be an advantage.
- Good team player.
- Self-driven, self-motivated and have a high level of integrity.
