The Security Coordinator (Systems) is responsible for overseeing and supporting the development and maintenance of physical security systems at client sites within the APAC region. They will have regular interactions with the Global Security team members across the globe and will also work closely with people from various functions, including EH&S, Facilities, and critically GIS (IT).
The Coordinator can expect to work on the design and delivery of products, solutions, outcomes, and data production. They will develop and execute projects relating to physical security program, from scope and definition to implementation and continuous improvement. With the guidance and direction of the Security Systems team, this position will work with various system integrators, collaborate in the procurement of goods and services, installation of systems and maintenance required. They will help identify end of life system replacement needs and make recommendations accordingly.
The Coordinator is an embedded role within the client organization, and will report direct to the Security Systems Specialist for EMEA & APAC, while having an operational reporting line to the Regional Security Lead for APAC. They will be physically sited at one of the major client sites in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and supporting physical security tools across the APAC footprint with systems and technology at the forefront.
- Support the enhancement of the ‘front of house’ customer experience through the best use of systems and data made available.
- Work closely with Global Security team members at facilities assigned, to include ensuring that metrics are met and efficient services are provided
- Support the design and delivery of effective security systems projects to relevant staff across the APAC Region
- Support Global Physical Security policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and best practices
- When needed, interface with other business areas and sectors to accomplish cooperative goals, representing Global Security in multidisciplinary initiatives
- Foster effective communication and coordination with the Global Security leadership and team
Preferred Qualifications & Education
- Relevant technical background with previous experience administering enterprise security systems (Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, etc.)
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and critical reasoning skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- MS Office Suite
- Experience in project management preferred
