Job Description
- Assists in overseeing the full spectrum of HR services (recruitment, policies, benefit & compensation, training & development, manpower budget, staff welfare & all other HR related issues).
- Formulates and implements recruitment strategies (vendor approach and partnership) to meet hotel manpower requirement.
- Partners with the line managers in the sourcing & selection and getting new employee integrated with the new environment and ready to contribute.
- Provides advisory to managers and employees on the interpretation of legislation/awards/agreements relating to employee remuneration and benefits.
- Provides advisory and market data to support the Management during decision making in the annual salary review and variable bonus review process.
- Supports and identifies key talent to business growth.
- Develops effective plans to improve staff performance through performance assessment and reward management system.
- Provides advisory to managers on performance management strategies and legal sensitivities.
- Oversees workplace health/safety initiatives & staff recognition program.
- Handles all industrial relations matters including MOM, STB, WSG etc.
- Conducts regular focus group discussion to validate findings, develops and follow up on action plans to resolve issues and monitoring standards of HR services.
- Manages employee relations, coach line managers in conflict resolution and management of differences.
- Any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management
Job Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the hospitality industry
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Excellent communicatino with strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- A team player, motivator & self-starter
