Manager, Co-Brand - South Korea

As the Manager, Co-Brand - South Korea, you will be responsible for activating the product and marketing strategy to support Hilton’s co-brand credit card portfolio in Asia. You will develop product and marketing tactics designed to drive awareness and consideration of the credit card portfolio, acquire new cardholders, as well as build loyalty and engagement among the existing cardholder base.


This position is a new role based in Singapore.


What will I be doing?

As the Manager, Co-Brand - South Korea, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage the relationship with the partner on a day-to-day basis ensuring we are meeting performance targets and contractual obligations
  • Identify and prioritize cardholder card acquisition activities and offers, including business opportunity sizing, anticipated return on investment, and resource scoping
  • Closely work with the co-brand partner to identify and prioritize cardholder engagement activities and offers to drive engagement and retention
  • Utilize data and findings to identify high-value prospects to build tailored marketing plans and creative for key audience segments
  • Lead the creative development for campaigns, including development of creative briefs, management of agency partners, gaining alignment and approval across key business partners, and ensuring all deliverables are on-brand
  • Source and manage creative agencies to ensure best-in-class creative development and performance
  • Partner with media team to strategize, plan and execute paid media campaigns to drive acquisition
  • Partner with owned channels team to strategize, plan and execute initiatives to drive acquisition and engagement, including but not limited to website, landing pages, social channels and others
  • Manage translation and transcreation of marketing materials
  • Manage the on-property acquisition channel including training Team Members and developing incentives as well as partner with HGV locally to drive acquisition
  • Further deepen the partnership by working on additional spend stimulation programs and campaigns outside of co-brand to drive awareness and revenue to hotels
  • Stay apprised of critical metrics, competitive landscape, and performance pacing to evaluate areas of risk against our yearly business goals and find opportunities for performance optimization and propose program and marketing initiatives to address those


What are we looking for?

A Manager, Co-Brand - South Korea serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Experience in managing partnerships
  • Understanding of credit card retailing best practices, effective positioning and value proposition building and messaging to engage customers
  • Excellent communication, with the ability to clearly and concisely express complex ideas, results, and areas of opportunities (both verbally and written)
  • Consistent track record of marketing success in executing marketing campaigns including experience with CRM (app/email), digital, offline and social
  • Experience writing effective creative briefs with ability to constructively provide feedback to internal and external agency partners and guide creative strategy and development
  • Experience gathering, analyzing and utilizing customer data and distilling insights to inform marketing decisions
  • Outside-the-box thinker with enthusiasm for developing and testing new ideas
  • Self-starter with high integrity, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working in partnership and marketing at a global organization
  • Native Korean and fluent English to support the South Korea market
  • Able to travel around 25%

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or MA/MS Master’s Degree
  • Experience in the credit card retailing space
