Summary of Job Role
To design and implement technology solutions that align with business requirements and goals, ensuring efficient and effective system integration while optimizing overall performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements and design effective technology solutions, ie: system architectures, selecting appropriate technologies, and designing integration points between different systems.
- Solution Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and system integration plans. Ensure that the documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- System Integration & Development: Identify opportunities for system integration and define strategies to integrate different systems. Design and develop interfaces and/or APIs to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability between systems.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure that the solution design is implemented in accordance with best practices, architectural principles, and industry standards.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Evaluate & recommend technology adoption and drive innovation within the organization.
Requirements
- Experiences as an IT Solution Architect or in similar roles. Able to design, develop and implement complex technology solutions.
- Hands-on latest software development methodologies, best practices, and implementing DevOps using Azure Repo/Github.
- Hands-on on.Net, Full-stack (node.Js, React.JS), and Java development platform including its toolchains and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of architecture of micro-service, containers, web technologies, mobile development, network and security principles, and database design.
- Ability to analyse complex business requirements, document them, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system development and integration issues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Self-driven individual who is able to work independently, as well as in a team.
Special Skills Requirement
- Knowledge of enterprise application integration (EAI) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and architecture, preferably in Azure cloud.
- Experience with container technologies and orchestration using Docker, and Kubernetes.
