The Senior Executive, Governance and Quality Assurance, supports educational quality assurance processes and practices for the NTU Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery undergraduate programme at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. This position reports to Director, Education Management.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Reform
Participate as Secretariat team member of the Curriculum Reform Committee (CRC) and its sub-groups and ensuring effective collaboration and implementation of curriculum reforms.
Organise CRC and its sub-groups meetings and providing administrative and logistical support
Assist in the preparation, compilation and dissemination of CRC and its sub-groups meeting package including meeting papers and slide deck
Assist Chair, CRC in the conduct of meetings
Draft minutes of CRC meetings and action plans for its sub-groups’ meetings
Assist in monitoring follow-up actions
Curriculum Documentation
Administer electronic filing infrastructure for NTU MBBS degree documentation
Maintain version control of curriculum documentation
Engage with internal stakeholders to plan and develop budget estimates for new degree programme, including operating expenses and expenditure on manpower
Assist faculty and educators in compiling and documenting learning outcomes
Collaborate with sub-groups, faculty and educators to collect, organise, and update course outlines, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.
Programme Policies and Processes
Collaborate with team leads in developing and reviewing MBBS degree programme policies and processes
Monitor timeline for submission of revised policies and processes for approval at School and University-level committees
Prepare student-facing versions of policies and processes for publication on student intranet
Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement
Provide administrative support for national-level medical education quality assurance and quality improvement efforts
Assist in preparation of quality assurance documentation for submission to Ministry of Health and Singapore Medical Council
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in education quality management
Background in medical education and/or healthcare administration would be an advantage
Knowledge of quality assurance frameworks and methodologies in higher education
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience in data management
Meticulous, resourceful and adaptable
Ability to multi-task and work independently under time pressure
Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
Team player
A proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions to address issues related to governance, compliance, and quality assurance
Strong organisational and project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute plans
This is a contract position till 31 March 2026.
