We are looking for a Manager, Graduate to join our Academic team, to oversee and manage the operations of the graduate programmes.
Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of high-quality services and operational efficiency across all graduate programmes
Oversee the planning, execution and management of administrative and logistic operations for experiential learning courses conducted overseas in a timely and cost-effective manner (if any).
Oversee the annual budget submissions and ensure effective tracking and monitoring of the allocated budgets for all graduate programmes.
Work closely with the Assistant Chair/Associate Chair and Assistant Director to develop, implement and review administrative and student support systems, increase the quality of the programmes and student satisfaction.
Ensure that staff (if any) within the graduate team are familiar with NTU policies on academic and student matters and ensure consistency in administering such processes across all the graduate programmes.
Oversee teaching assignment submission, management of timetabling, and exam matters for all graduate programmes.
Coordinate and collate data or reports on graduate programmes as required for school, College or NTU departments.
Maintain rapport with both internal (i.e., Programme Directors, faculty and part-timers teaching in the programme, Office of Admissions, Office of Academic Services, Office of Finance, Graduate College etc) and external stakeholders (e.g. students, alumni, external organisations, vendors).
Serve as the key point of contact for postgraduate coursework students, providing essential support and guidance on all programme-related matters
Ensure efficient administration of Student Recruitment, Student Admission/matriculation procedures, and the GE teaching schedule while assisting faculty and students in completing the diverse academic-related processes in compliance with the NTU policies and guidelines.
Provide support and liaise with faculty/other schools/external professors on programme mentorship/in supervisory role for MA and PhD thesis processing, evaluation, and submission processes.
Provide administrative support for engaging part-time teaching staff.
Manage facilities booking for teaching purposes
School liaison with NTU’s Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM) on students’ exchange matters.
Other administrative support assigned by the School.
Requirements:
Recognised degree in any discipline with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic administrative role in a tertiary institution.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver with quality and timelines.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Meticulous with an eye for details.
Proactive and has a service oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
