Environmental Control Officer
- Support the Team by providing environmental control and enforcement support.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to the EMMP, taking timely corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections, prepare inspection reports, and maintain records of findings.
- Provide recommendations for rectifying environmental non-compliance observed on site.
- Handle waste management practices to prevent wildlife attraction.
- Attend project meetings related to EMMP and EHS.
- Liaise with authorities and external bodies on EMMP matters.
- Maintain relevant site documentation, including permits, method statements, reports, audits, and monitoring results.
- Participate in or lead EMMP incident inquiries.
- Requirements: Diploma in Environmental, WHS, Built Environment, or related field. Three years of post-registration experience as a NEA Registered Environmental Control Officer in Specified Construction Sites. Good knowledge of environmental policies, legislation, guidelines, standards, and best practices. Ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits, manage public communication and complaints, and maintain organized documentation.
