Job Description:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within set timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
- Lead the implementation of PM System using the current Process Control System, and ensuring PM activity is carried out during factory downtime at the correct frequency to an agreed standard.
- Provide technical guidance to address complex engineering challenges.
- Efficiently allocate resources, manage workloads, and prioritize tasks.
- Identify and address skill gaps through training and development.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for project success.
- Act as a bridge between the engineering team and other departments.
- Conduct performance evaluations and set performance goals.
- Identify career development opportunities for team members.
Job Requirement:
- At least Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Min 7 years experience in management of in engineering, project and maintenance management within food manufacturing industry
- Proven leadership experience in an engineering environment.
Strong background in project management and delivering engineering solutions.. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders. - Demonstrated abilities to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Effective decision-making under pressure.
