Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences in the furniture and mattress industry.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company's customer base and market reach.
- Set sales targets, create sales plans, and lead the sales team in achieving revenue and profitability goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and business partners.
- Collaborate with product designers and manufacturers to ensure the product portfolio meets customer demands and market trends.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional activities to enhance the company's visibility.
- Identify and establish new distribution channels, such as e-commerce platforms, retail partnerships, and franchises.
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Monitor budgets, analyze financial data, and report on business development performance to ensure cost-effective strategies.
- Explore opportunities for geographic expansion and international market entry, if applicable, and create market entry strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales and marketing.
- Strong knowledge of the furniture and mattress market, including an understanding of trends, consumer behavior, and competition.
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to guide and inspire the sales team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences, and the ability to pivot strategies accordingly.
