Job Location : Nanyang Avenue

Job Type : 5 Months January – May 2024, with a possible extension/conversion

Job Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager will be assisting the University Scholars Programme office in the following matters:

Admissions

· Arranged for admissions interviews with applicants and faculty members.

· Involve in Admissions Teas and virtual sharing sessions.

· Supports the organization of Admissions outreach events.

Publicity

· Manages the office's publicity and communication tools and platforms, including but not limited to the website, e-newsletters, social media (Facebook, Instagram, Blog and USPChat (WhatsApp)), printed collaterals etc.

· Updates reports for internal and external communication purposes.

Student Club

· Work closely with USP Club to organize activities.

· Provide advice to Committee in activities proposal writing.

Overseas Learning

· Advises students on education abroad programme options, opportunities and requirements.

· Assists students with the study abroad application process, including advising on financial aid and scholarships, courses equivalency process, registration, transcripts, credits and other administrative tasks.

· Processes applications, logistics and manage scholar’s placement in partner Universities.

· Facilitates course matching process between scholars, home programmes and partner Universities.

· Handles all communications between departments, partner Universities and scholars.


Job Requirements:

· A degree holder with a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in Communication and related fields.

· Technology savvy is a plus point especially the ability to manage live streaming and online platforms.

· Well-versed in use of social media for outreach.

· Must enjoy a dynamic working environment and with positive thinking.

· Able to work as a team player and liaise with internal and external parties.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Must enjoy meeting and interacting with people.
