Role: We are looking for a Content Creator who can create interesting content for different media platforms (with a focus on digital platforms). This includes making videos, graphics, podcasts, and articles that are appealing to and effective for the target audience. The Content Creator will use photos, videos, text, and other media to convey the brand’s message. They must have an eye for design, be creative, have good technical skills and a pulse on current trends.
Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with the latest news and trends in the ice cream and wider food and beverage industry, as well as stay in touch with pop culture and trends
- Research industry-related topics
- Create engaging content for the company website, newsletter and social media or digital accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
- Ensure that all content is SEO-optimised, well-researched, and fits the brand’s tone of voice.
- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments, shares, etc)
- Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
- Update website content as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create campaigns that work cohesively
- Manage and update a content calendar
- Use metrics to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to create original, interesting, and relevant content for the audience
- Good research skills to identify topics, trends, and current events related to the brand’s area of expertise
- Ability to generate content ideas and plans for content marketing campaigns
- Ability to create content in various formats, such as blog posts, videos, webinars, infographics, web copy, and social media posts
- Knowledge of analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of SEO best practices including researching keywords and building links
- Ability to manage and update content on multiple platforms, such as a website, a blog, and social media
