Job Purpose and Impact
The Technical Service Associate I, will support the research and development teams, conduct routine projects in the laboratory or pilot plants and allow for the development of appropriate solutions aligned with project outcome expectations. In this role, you will assist with conducting trials in the laboratory or pilot plant, supporting samples of the realized trials and reporting results to senior team members in the innovation and application centers.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in conducting trials at the assigned laboratory or in application pilot plants.
- Assist with the assigned various production steps with relevant use of processing equipment by following guidance.
- Assist with handling samples with appropriate evaluation tools by following guidance.
- Assist to register and report results to projects leaders by following the established templates and processes.
- Perform routine check and report issues to the process owner for action, such as production issues, disfunction, missing information and missing raw materials.
- Understand and comply with product and personal safety regulations and other procedural compliance regulations.
- Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualification
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of the food industry
