IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

1. Must be able to apply effective project management methodologies and ensure appropriate action applies in corrective needs
2. Responsible for the development of project plans, activities and schedule
3. Strong in tracking project scope, requirements, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
4. Responsible for project Profit & Loss
5. Must be able to manage cross-functional teams in project deliveries
6. Manage contract requirements, terms, change management, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
7. Provide regular projects communications including status updates to customers, senior management, customers and stakeholders
8. Established and maintain comprehensive project documentation
9. To design appropriate training programs and workshops for project team
10. Experience in managing deployment of IT infrastructure, such as systems & networks and cybersecurity solutions
11. Experiences in major IT infrastructure & cybersecurity system updates, upgrades, OS hardening and migrations.
12. Constantly keep abreast of latest technology changes to maintain deployment and operational efficiency
13. Create a positive team environment and coordinate work effort of each team member in a cohesive fashion
14. Good vendor management skills.
15. Participate in tender project management and maintenance costing & quotation
16. Competent and proficient understanding in IT Infrastructure Services, Cybersecurity Solutions, Cloud Computing and Systems Integration.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Computer science / IT / Cyber/ Engineering or equivalent
2. Highly motivated and self-driven to complete assignment with the limited resources and tight schedule
3. Good technical skills in engineering, computer, cybersecurity and IT systems, and preferably in communications technologies as well
4. Good knowledge of Systems Engineering, Project Management and Systems Integration
5. Good communication and writing skills
6. At least 2 years’ experience respectively) in project management. Able to handle complex projects, technical challenges and different groups of users and external contractors
7. Good to have PMP or CITPM or PRINCE2 certification with strong understanding of techniques and methods
8. Strong familiarity with project management software E.g. MS Project
9. Strong customer management in collaboration and understanding their requirements
10. Strong vendor management in negotiation and collaboration
11. Strong in people management
