Position Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all the audits from scheduling, review and closure of findings (Internal Audit, Supplier Audit, Customer Audit, Regulatory Audit).
· Lead the QA team for system qualification, implementation and assessment for inbound material to finished goods for continuous improvement.
· Review manufacturing practices including the prerequisite program, process control with production for continuous improvement.
· Microbiologist which oversea the microbiological lab operation and work with microbiological lab supervisor for troubleshooting for any issue related to microbiology testing.
(an advantage, if have this working knowledge).
· Work with regulatory department such SFA, NEA to ensure system in place is adequate and sufficient.
· Approve the training material for regular GMP/Food Safety training.
· Assist in incident management, complaint handling and conduct product risk assessment.
· Proposals & Recommendations- Review the audit report to identify improvement plan, and recommend effective preventive action to prevent reoccurrence of non- conformance.
· Make decision on new vendor approval and the approach to adopt for continuous improvement
To be successful in the role, the incumbent should have the following qualities:
· Bachelor degree in Food Science & Technology or related field
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing experience or industry-specific experience with 1 year of management experience required.
· Good working knowledge of MS Office
· Knowledge in ISO, HACCP and FSSC 22000, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
· Effective and good communication skills in both written and spoken
· Ability to prepare required quality and other reports for business review
· Good knowledge in food safety & quality system such as ISO, HACCP and FSSC
· Organized with the ability to prioritize, multitask and navigate in ambiguous environment
· Good leadership skill to lead the quality assurance team for system compliance and country requirement.
· Independent and highly self-motivated who works well in a team.
· Attention to details and observant.
· Growth mindset to strive for improvement.
