Job Summary
Support global trade organization in Greater Asia to ensure import and export supply chain operation comply with applicable custom laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support trade compliance system process enhancement and testing
- Support Greater Asia countries in HS classification and licensing requirement
- Initiate cost saving opportunities and support Free trade agreement qualification process.
- Support system database maintenance and alignment such as HS codes, export control code, Country of origin information.
- Set up new compliance process and drive continuous improvement to existing import and export processes.
- Represent global trade in crossed functional and crossed countries projects such as AEO qualification.
- Act as a regional support to Greater Asia countries in trade operation processes as and when required.
Preferred Requirements
- Minimum Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience with exposure to international trade regulations
- Team player and able to work cross functionally
- Attention to details and conscientious to problem solving
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Knowledgeable on use of Microsoft software such as Excel, PowerPoints, Words, etc
- SAP ERP and GTS knowledge an advantage
