- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field
- Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment
- Creative thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to keep up with the latest technologies
- A desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge
- Onboard background or equivalent with vessel system knowledge
- Electrical/electronic component knowledge will be preferred.
- Ability to work in onboard (offshore) for months.
- Minimum one year experience in onboard / offshore field will be preferred
- Able to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in the below fields of relevance or equivalent will be a plus.
- Ship automation
- Applicable codes related to electronic engineering (IEC 1131)
- PLC programming and troubleshooting using structure text programming.
- Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills
