Manager, Sales Excellence, APAC

What you will do:

  • Drive commercial intensity, sales effectiveness, and business growth in the Asia Pacific region covering all lines of business.
  • Conduct strategic planning, data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder management.
  • Manage processes, policies and system solutions of sales performance and incentives through collaborating with regional & local sales teams, HR, Total Rewards and Finance functions, whilst supporting the sales & commercial leadership to drive continuous improvement on sales productivity, pipeline health and effectiveness to enable profitable growth.
  • Primarily focus on driving execution within the Asia Pacific field businesses and be part of a newly constructed global team.
  • Actively participate in the drive to create global standards, and support initiatives spanning multiple businesses.
  • Report to the Asia Pacific Commercial Sales Operations Leader – Sales & Commercial Excellence department.

How you will do it:

  • Lead the Commercial Sales effectiveness initiatives & cadences with Country Sales, Finance, HR teams to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and develop performance indicators and measurements, define commercial KPI tracking mechanism and establish sales dashboards to ensure accountability & ownership, driving meaningful discussions during sales & commercial reviews.
  • Design, deploy and maintain tracking and reporting of performance measurements via advanced data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Access, Excel etc.) & robust IT systems (CRM, ERP etc.) to support sales & commercial intensity.
  • Contribute to APAC & Global Commercial Business reviews with data insights on sales quota/ performance, key performance metrics, and identify trends or areas for improvement – utilizing tools/ dashboards/scorecards for Countries, LOBs, Verticals, Accounts, Digital Solutions, Growth Initiatives.
  • Oversight of sales performance and incentive governance model ensuring right process & cadence in place for sales capacity tracking, sales quota setting, performance tracking and incentive payout.
  • Support sales incentive plan updates with Commercial leadership team and Total Rewards experts to drive right seller behaviors to meet business goals.
  • Champion APAC Commercial Operations community through commercial programs; collaborating with business & sales leaders/ operations to develop growth strategies and aligned execution, creating trusted and valued partnership with all teams.
  • Lead overall communication and drive change management during process and system roll out across the region.

What we look for:

  • Minimum 8 years working experiences from Industrial MNC or Management Consulting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in Business Management, Sales & Marketing, or Engineering concentrations required.
  • Experiences in assessing, analyzing, and solving complex commercial issues, dementated capabilities of communicating the implications, facilitating problem solving, and driving consensus.
  • Skillful in using data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Access, Excel etc.) and familiar with Salesfore.com or other CRM systems, rich experiences of creating business intelligence dashboards through consolidating multiple data sources with simplified visualizations and capacities of automated and/or scheduled refreshments.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized matrix organizational structure).
  • Ability to deep dive into data, break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations for improvement.
  • Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
  • Strong influencing capability to integrate and work with cross-functional teams from different backgrounds, cultures, and geographies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Agile, self-starter and can-do attitude is a must.
