RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER Responsibilities
Assist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
Monitor and maintain store inventory
Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources
Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
Handle complaints from customers
Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
Need to frequently move heavy objects 10-50KG
Open the store early morning at 3:30am and be responsible for closing the store at 5pm. Working hours are divided into two periods
Requirements and skills
Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
Interpersonal and communication skills
High initiative and positive attitude
6 days’ work week, can work on weekends/public holidays
