JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Solutions Architect, you will work with customers and other customer-facing roles to help design and optimize customers' use of Google Cloud to address their business problems. We scale our knowledge and learnings from working on customer problems by creating solutions, blueprints, and public strengths. In this role, you will work with customer employees from different disciplines and functional roles, and help decision-makers understand and choose the benefits of Google Cloud for their business to help drive growth and success. Your collaboration with other customer-facing roles within Google Cloud will help the various teams within customer organizations understand how to implement solutions running on Google Cloud.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide subject matter expertise around technical infrastructure and applications.
  • Communicate across customer organizations and become a trusted advisor to decision-makers.
  • Create content/strengths to scale your knowledge.
  • Define the business case for solutions, and guide the solution through launch to market by working collaboratively with other go-to-market teams.
  • Travel regularly up to 30% in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in cloud computing (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data), cloud market, competitive dynamics, and customer buying behavior
  • Experience in Data analytics and Vertex AI within a cloud based environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, related engineering field, or equivalent work experience in a software/systems engineering or lead position
  • Experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions, or developing business applications
  • Experience with Kafka, MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, Flume, Hive, Presto, SparkSQL, BigQuery, and/or Dataflow/Beam
  • Understanding of data and information management as it relates to Big Data or Streaming Data Pipeline
  • Ability to translate/communicate complex technical concepts in an approachable way for broad audiences, empowering them with memorable and useful information
