The Delivery Driver cum Warehouse Assistant role is a key position in the representation of customer service of our organisation. The main responsibility is to complete deliveries and collections, ensuring accuracy and safe practices, with handling goods (fragile, F&B, FMCG).
This role requires a good attitude, communication, and the ability to prioritise effectively. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the supply chain and is an essential part of the customer satisfaction team.
Working hours:
- Work Days: 5.5 days per week (Monday to Friday 09:00am to 6.30pm; Saturday 09:00am to 3.00pm)
- Work Location: Kallang
- Monthly Salary: $2200 - $2700
Job Scope:
- Provide timely delivery to all customers islandwide
- Check and ensure loaded goods are of the correct types according to DO or Invoice
- Ensure that goods are delivered in good condition without delay or damage
- Ensure customer sign with their company’s stamp on our DO when receiving our goods
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods, able to handle heavy loads
- Adhere to the statutory and company’s safety policies, procedures and regulations
- Assisting in adhoc jobs assigned (mainly warehousing/packaging) when not scheduled to do deliveries or any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
· Class 3 (Manual) Driver’s License required, with minimum 2 years’ driving experience.
- 2 years delivery truck driving experience preferred
- Relevant warehouse experience advantageous, or otherwise display willingness to learn.
- Able to physically load and unload goods of 15kg - 20kg.
- Able to communicate in English & Mandarin, service-orientated with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Familiar with Singapore roads
- Able to use Google Map/Waze and Whatsapp
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
