Primary Objective

The Merchandising Administrator is responsible to support all business reporting for the Merchandising department in all areas of the department especially in the functions of merchandising & brand marketing.


The main focus for the role is on weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually & other ad hoc business, merchandizing and management reporting for the assigned regions. The role reports directly to the Merchandising Director with indirect reports to the Merchandising Managers.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


1) Business Reporting

  • Generate, perform and potentially analyses relevant merchandising/performance ROI reports which will be in a weekly, monthly, annually period based, detailed reports for sales by SKU/brands report, stock level monitoring, identify/monitor slow moving, promotions & bestsellers items
  • Reporting on ad-hoc price data summary & survey verification on pricing
  • Additional Global Merchandising support for ad-hoc reporting for SG, HK & Korea.

2) Purchase Order & SKU Maintenance

  • Extract system data such as [historical sales, stock inventory, on order, pricing] to prepare buying spreadsheet for Buyer to work on
  • Upload PO and follow-up vendor shipment delivery status
  • Upload prices data and other information by SKU
  • Creation of New merchandises SKU

3) Shipment & Stock Management

  • Communicate to Logistics & Brands for shipment PO/stock issues/ any discrepancy reporting
  • Communicate to Operations on stock availability/ arrivals/ requisitions/ transfers etc
  • Distribution list preparation for New merchandises
  • Communication to Operations for New merchandise orders

4) Additional duties

  • Any other administrative tasks which may include but not limited to order processing, creating & maintaining system SKU data, managing non-commercial items, liaising with warehouse on shipment status & stock related matters
  • Follow up on monthly routine with Brands e.g. sales incentive/contest & on-counter GWPs & discount summary update
  • Manage timely stocks return to vendors and stocks write-off/conversion
  • Provide GWPs shipping information for warehouse follow-up on SKU tagging
  • Ensure & communicate agreed promotion mechanics with vendors & Operations
