RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Programme Executive, your main role is to provide all areas of support to Programme Manager in the planning, organising, implementing and overseeing of the overall running and execution of programmes and activities of the Centre.

You are also to work closely with volunteers, corporate sponsors and TSA corps to execute all planned programmes and activities to meet the needs of beneficiaries.

You are also expected to be involved in developing communication platforms for sharing of information on programmes and activities to beneficiaries.

As Programme Executive, you also help to ensure the efficacy of programmes and services especially in developing platforms to measure its outputs and outcomes.

Fundraising will be a part of your role and you are to support the Centre Manager in all fundraising initiatives of the Centre.

 

Programme Development,  Implementation & Evaluation

  • To work closely with Programme Manager, staff and relevant volunteers to identify the aftercare needs of the released inmates and develop programmes and services to address these needs.
  • Plan and co-ordinate and implement programmes and services according to identified plans that enhance the re-integration potential of released inmates.
  • Engage and collaborate with other stake-holders, individual volunteers and corporate partners to maximise resources and to execute the programme and services to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Develop structures and processes for collection and collation of information on programme and service utilisation by beneficiaries with purpose of evaluating its outputs and outcomes.
  • Assist in generating quarterly reports on programmes and services to management, corporate donors and partners.

 

Volunteer Recruitment, Development And Management

  • Ensure there is a proper procedure in recruiting, orientating, supervising, and evaluating volunteers and to constantly review these processes for service improvement and delivery.
  • Develop communication channels where enquiries, feedback, updates, and concerns could be mutually raised by the volunteers and the Centre and to ensure there is proper follow up and closure carried out on all matters raised.
  • Ensure all volunteers are screened by Singapore Prison Service (SPS) and only those who cleared the screening could be recruited for service.
  • Ensure all volunteers are briefed of the guidelines set by SPS and the Centre to observe proper boundaries, ethical and safe practices in their engagement of beneficiaries.
  • Develop and implement structures and processes in which volunteers undergo identified and appropriate training and development courses that are in alignment to SPS and Centre’s training plan.
  • Develop platforms or structures to ensure that the well-being of volunteers is taken care of and that they are duly recognised for their effort of supporting beneficiaries.

 

Others

  • Assist the Centre in fund-raising initiatives especially to plan and organise events involving external stake-holders, corporate partners, volunteers and community to generate fund and support for the aftercare programmes and service.
  • Support and assist the operation of the faith-related work of the Centre involving the beneficiaries especially the weekly chapel services both inside and outside the prisons.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
