Key Responsibilities:
- Engage/Plan/conduct training and roadshows with business owners to drive data literacy/adoption.
- Perform data modelling procedures to create efficient snowflake/star schemas for dashboards and visualizations.
- Assist/create necessary data models and requirement gathering to develop clear and measurable key performance drivers/metrics within the business.
- Translate business requirements/needs into actionable insight.
- Build easy to use and intuitive data visualizations.
- Provide training and support to the team in dashboard build and documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to business owners in a clear and concise manner.
- Support/lead strategic initiatives/projects from providing requirements and business analytics data support to completion and successful delivery and launch of the initiatives/projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics environment.
Requirements:
Experience
- Proven experience working as a business intelligence analyst or a similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud or similar platform.
- Knowledge/experience with Qlik NPrinting, Oracle Cloud, Snowflake, AWS S3, Airflow will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in financial and insurance sector will be advantageous.
Education
- Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields (preferred)
