Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage/Plan/conduct training and roadshows with business owners to drive data literacy/adoption.
  • Perform data modelling procedures to create efficient snowflake/star schemas for dashboards and visualizations.
  • Assist/create necessary data models and requirement gathering to develop clear and measurable key performance drivers/metrics within the business.
  • Translate business requirements/needs into actionable insight.
  • Build easy to use and intuitive data visualizations.
  • Provide training and support to the team in dashboard build and documentation.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to business owners in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support/lead strategic initiatives/projects from providing requirements and business analytics data support to completion and successful delivery and launch of the initiatives/projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics environment.

Requirements:

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a business intelligence analyst or a similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud or similar platform.
  • Knowledge/experience with Qlik NPrinting, Oracle Cloud, Snowflake, AWS S3, Airflow will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and ETL processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in financial and insurance sector will be advantageous.

Education

  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields (preferred)
