Human Resources Director
Reporting directly to higher management, you will lead a team of Human Resource Business Partners to identify, develop, and drive key initiatives which include talent acquisition, talent/performance management, workforce and succession planning, manpower review, industrial relations as well as rewards and recognition. Your role is both strategic and hands-on, monitoring and implementing the full range of HR Business Partnering and HR Operations services to the organization, ensuring that they are effective and in accordance with the trading and manufacturing’s HR principles and policy. You will be required to work with higher management and managers to shape the people strategies, execute all HR initiatives, and drive HR excellence.
In partnership with leaders, you will provide leadership to drive strategies to achieve organizational goals. In your role, you will champion HR digital transformation projects including process improvements, and change management in trading, and manufacturing, and act as a catalyst to propel the workforce towards desired change and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong business partnering management in areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and staff engagement with alignment to the business strategies and contribute to the organization's goals.
- Partner with the higher management and leadership team to create a culture that supports the strategy for organizational growth.
- Build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, providing guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance, and development issues.
- Identify opportunities provide solutions to problems and render valuable services.
- Consult with leaders and managers on increasing leadership, team, and organisational effectiveness; provide fair and consistent advice on HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
- Play a critical role in workforce planning and talent succession planning.
Job Requirements
- Good degree, preferably with a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management
- More than 12 years of HR managerial experience, preferably in a complex large organization or MNC
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and demonstrated ability to provide HR solutions in a fast-paced and complex environment. Knowledge of the trading and manufacturing industry is an advantage.

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
