Develop as a key member of the design team. This role will enable the candidate to develop into a highly valued Senior Design Manager in the niche irrigation industry. The company will fast track the candidate becoming a Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) of which there are a limited number in Asia.
The Candidate should be willing to learn and be ready to upskill rapidly. This will allow for better independence and autonomy of work scope and develop into a senior management role within the company in Singapore and the region.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Design and drafting of small- and large-scale irrigation projects.
· Quantity take-offs for preparation of quotations.
· Liaise with authorities for compliance.
· Liaise with site teams and senior management for design input.
· Monitor & administer project progress. Ensure compliance with design specifications.
· Recommend & implement process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
· Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines.
· Attend meetings where necessary.
· Assist in the preparation & co-ordination for progress billing.
