The primary objective of the Senior Account Manager is to retain and grow revenues from its existing customers and acquire new businesses and customers. This requires them to move from a transactional role with our customer to a strategic partner with strong influence to shape their buying decisions. This person oversees and manages Singtel's relationships with its carrier customers and build long-term relationships with them. This is an individual contributor role and reports to the Head of Carrier Sales


Make an Impact by

  • To provide one-stop experience to carriers’ customers regarding all Singtel services.
  • To market Singtel Carrier’s Services core suite of domestic and international services to our carriers’ customers.
  • To identify new revenue streams with our carriers’ customers to ensure continued growth.
  • To work with among others Solution Manager, Product and Marketing Managers to propose cost effective customized solution for our carriers’ customers
  • Identifying and break through new market
  • Identifying any reciprocal or returned businesses between each other to ensure sustained growth. To ensure that all customers’ pre-sales & post-sales enquiries and works orders, commercial documents, dealings with customers are promptly attended to and documented
  • To work closely with customers on invoices payment.
  • To effectively uses data and business intelligence resources to drive sales
  • To find creative ways to solve problems and exceed customer expectation
  • Successfully managing client accounts through onboarding, upselling, and partnership projects

Skills for Success

  • Minimally 3-5 years of relevant working experience in carriers’ account management. However, candidates with no prior experience but possess strong attitude will also be considered.
  • Good understanding of domestic and international data services, including data centre services which Singtel offers to carrier customers.
  • Have completed SPIN Selling or equivalent training programmes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.com
  • Has working experience or knowledge in Data Analytics
  • Proficient with analysing large database management and analytic tools and languages supporting data analysis and reporting - SQL, and Excel
  • Proven strong account portfolio planning, presentation and reporting
  • Resourceful, flexible and good business acumen and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
