Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operation’s Manager in the daily supervision of the whole operations and manpower to ensure operational excellence and top customer service. Coordinate with the General Manager in different operational issues and promotional activities.
- Overall management of warehouses’ activities; plan routes and process deliveries.
- Develop a productive, stress-free and profitable working environment for employees.
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
- Create and implement logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance.
- Address operational issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Oversee operational cost, and in charge of closing of the daily delivery reports.
- Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination undertakings.
- In charge of attendance and schedule appointments to riders and driver’s delivery schedules and making sure that there is standby whenever deemed necessary.
- Perform routine inspection and evaluation on the driver’s and rider’s delivery schedules.
- Liaising and negotiating with all business clientele.
- Weekly meetings and prepare reports to Operation's Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics and Transport Management.
- At least 5 years experience in Logistics & Transports Industry.
- Able to commit time in this role.
- Require to standby 24/7 after working hours for unforeseen circumstance.
- Require to work over weekend/PH/after office hours.
- Overtime is a must, need to work over midnight if required.
- Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
