Responsibility
- Creating detailed process system designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, encompassing screening apparatus, physical-chemical and biological treatment units, blower machinery, odor control systems, disinfection setups, sludge treatment facilities, desalination processes, and related components.
- Developing designs for supporting systems such as chemical feed, mechanical ventilation, and drainage.
- Generating Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, and layout drawings, along with preparing specifications for process equipment.
- Reviewing and assessing vendor submissions, coordinating with various disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, building services, instrumentation & control designers, and digital water experts).
- Leading meetings, HAZOP sessions, and discussions with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Providing engineering support for bids and proposals, formulating testing and commissioning plans, executing process testing and commissioning, and staying updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technology to integrate them effectively into designs.
Requirments
- Possess a minimum of 15 years experience in process design within water and wastewater treatment.
- Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
- Showcase expertise in modeling and optimizing water and wastewater treatment processes, including proficiency in biological treatment methodologies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing wastewater modeling software such as BioWin, GPS-X, SUMO Etc.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes such as Activated Sludge, SBR, MBR, and MBBR/IFAS.
- Have hands-on experience in crafting Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
