Responsibilities:
- Understanding of import & export stature requirement for local & oversea markets.
- Executing, direction and coordinate as required for all transportation matters within organisation, vendors & customers
- Planning, monitoring and controlling transportation activities include budgets, schedules & routes for incoming, outgoing and transfer of goods for the organisation.
- Assuring and seeking to improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g., communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and customer meetings, kick off, review, etc.
- Arranging vendors on resources for all local activities on deliverable include stuffing/unstuffing of goods, allocation of containers and import & export clearance documentations
- Managing forwarder & counterparts on processes and documentation for smooth deliveries
- Working proactively to set customer expectation to assure acceptance of timely deliverables even under challenging circumstances
- Identifying and sharing lessons learned to be recorded.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree / Diploma with minimum 2 years’ of experience managing Logistics & Operation activities.
- Experience with Logistic deliverable of different size, complexity and contractual types.
- Submission of all required logistic documentation & understand incoterm.
- Working knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
