Sales Account Manager

Sabic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

JOB PURPOSE

  1. To plan, organize, implement, improve and maintain sales & marketing activities for the assigned SABIC Agri-Nutrient product portfolios and countries in Asia Pacific region.
  2. Regular communication and information sharing with SABIC Agri-Nutrients HQ and other regional offices to share market information and to ensure that agreed business plans are met and optimized.
  3. Assist in business development activities by researching, developing and follow up of marketing opportunities and plan.


JOB KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Play a major role in organizing, planning, developing, coordinating and implementing sales and marketing strategies and activities (business plan / sales forecast) for assigned SABIC Agri-Nutrients product portfolios and countries in Asia Pacific region.
  • Develop, retain and sustain good relationship with key customers through periodic contacts and meetings to exchange market information, explore specific needs and anticipate new opportunities, ensuring SABIC Agri-Nutrients market share and profitability in the region is maintained and/or increase based on the business plan.
  • Proactively identify, develop & nurturing new customers or new segments to seek out opportunity for expanding sales activities in defined region with the aim to provide quality products and services through innovation, learning and operational excellence while sustaining maximum value for our stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with other functions and utilizing existing planning, monitoring and forecasting tools to achieve planned sales volumes as per budget.
  • Supervise all related sales transactions to ensure all set plans and sales process including on time delivery and after sales support are achieved.
  • Leading team to conduct marketing study, market segmentations, netback comparison and other special projects to develop new and innovative solutions and improve product marketability and profitability.
  • Ensure the commercial level of transactions in the defined region comply with SABIC's company policy, EHSS standard and local law and fit local regulation.
  • Providing mentoring and coaching to junior co-workers.


MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Economics or Agriculture
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Agri Nutrients / Petrochemicals sales or business management
  • Planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to analyze, solve problems, negotiate, run & manage effective meetings
  • Knowledge of cost analysis technique
