- Lead, manage and coach the Asia Pacific team of customer service personnel in Asia Pacific region.
- Develop customer service policy and procedures.
- Establish and monitor meaningful service metrics.
- Audit customer service procedures and trends and determine system improvements.
- Manage the Order to Cash process for various product lines.
- Drive business simplification to increase productivity and reduce cost.
- Manage manpower requirement and grow the team to support business growth.
- Work with various stakeholders on inbound and outbound logistics.
- Answer customers’ questions, resolve problems, and maintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving solution.
- Attend to service-related customer feedback. Timely investigate root causes of non-conformance incidents and recommend preventive actions.
- Liaise with banks, foreign consulates, statutory boards, and external parties as necessary on trade financing and documentation issues.
- Undertakes ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A degree in business, industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ work experience in customer service, material management or business planning area, preferably in a chemical company.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing or supervising people.
- Ability to communicate effectively, make sound decisions and lead by example.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Order to Cash, Shipping and Trade Financing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
