The role
Sitting in the Assortment Strategy & Planning team of the Commercial Department, this position will be responsible for the synthesization of market & competition, as well as our customer trends and behaviours when it comes to assortment. You will also be responsible for hypothesis generation, analysis, organising of data and insights, presentation of business recommendations in a digestible and actionable manner to the larger organisation.
You need to have a firm grasp and understanding of the business goals of the company and have a strong commercial thinking, leveraging on qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities and help accelerate commercial growth of the categories in a scalable and sustainable manner.

Main responsibilities
- Work closely with the Data team to build base reports and charts that will reflect business health that will be used across the Commercial Team
- Support the Buying and Merchandising team by providing performance insights to make refinements to their plans
- Generate category trends and behaviours to support Planners in OTB, Range Planning and Pricing Frameworks development
- Conduct competitor benchmarking analysis and macro or industry analysis to form solutions to solve key business issues, product market fit for new markets etc
- Continuously identify opportunities and work closely with cross functional counterparts to help them understand and follow up with an after action evaluation post implementation
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business analytics, buying or planning
- Degree with a Bachelors in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. Fresh graduates with relevant backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency of Excel; Knowledge with BI platforms and SQL is a plus
- Prior experience in a fashion or DTC brand a plus
