Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding / Logistics
- Position Title: Shipping Executive / Logistics Executive
- Working Location: Jurong East
- Working Hours: 5 days, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 5:30 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic up to $3,200 + Variable bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Ensure timely processing of orders and accurate preparation of shipping documents.
- Communicate and liaise with Tradenet, Government agencies for approval of all relevant documents and declarations.
- Ensure compliance with government rules and policies for all imported and exported products.
- Prepare all relevant documents for L/C negotiations with the bank.
- Coordinate the delivery, shipment, and collection of goods with customers, suppliers, forwarders, shipping companies, contractors for stuffing and unstuffing, and other departments within the company/group.
- Negotiate freight charges for all shipments.
- Translate material requirements to support customers' and company's needs.
- Consistently update records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Organize and maintain shipping correspondence file records.

- Minimum qualification of ITE/Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in logistics and shipping operations is an advantage.
- Candidates with minimal experience are welcome to apply for the Assistant position.
- Familiarity with Tradenet and government regulations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
