Duties & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
*Oversee the direction and management of the Weddings and Events team, ensuring they deliver on brief, to deadline, and to the highest quality to build a high performing team.
*Co-ordinate, monitor and execute all events and activities indepentenly.
*Conceptualize and prepare event proposals customised to individual events.
*Operate and maintain a computerised system for responding and coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, bookings and availability.
*Meet prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private and corporate functions.
*Liaise directly with clients to take ownership in relation to coordinating the intricate details of their events.
*Ensure a prompt and professional response and follow-up to sales enquiries.
Management of customer feedback including responding to guest problems and complaints relatinf to Weddings and Events.
*Take ownership for recurring challenges and ensure the issues are resolved.
*Assist with the development of brochures and sales /promotional materials.
*Work closely with other members of the events team. Porvide support and leadership to relevant team mebers.
*Maintain and update all business leads with an accurate database.
*Inspections and attend trade shows to drive business acquisiitons.
*Prepare and lead discussions in Pre-conference meetings.
*Prepare proposals,engage in negotiations and confirmation of business through contracting.
CORPORATE EVENTS:
*Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of event planning and executive from the start t finish.
*Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
*Manage on-site logistics on the day of events, including set-up, breakdown, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
*Stay with assigned budgets for each event.
*Create detailed timelines and days of schedules to ensure all elements of the event are executed flawlessly.
*To actively source for business leads through networking and other means.
*Other ad-hoc duties/projects assigned by superior or Creative Director.
Requirements:
*Diploma/Degree in any field
*Excellent command of written and spoken english
*High level of efficiency, initiative, meticulous with an eye for details and multi-tasking ability.
*Independent, motivated, creative thinker with a positive and flexible attitude and a genuine passion for event sales .
*minium two years Wedding or Event experience required
