JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Oversee the planning of production and delivery schedule.
Ø Co-ordinate with Sales, Design team, Operations team, Delivery team and Procurement
Ø Planning and arrangement of staff, manpower, material and machinery.
Ø Competent in metal works and fabrication with strong technical knowledge
Ø Selection of material, supplier and sub-contractor with approval from MD.
Ø Control of production cost, quality and occupational health and safety
Ø Solve any major complaints/ issues from customer.
Ø Assign work and responsibility to foreman, mechanics, supervisor, storekeeper, workers and sub-contractors.
Ø Maintenance and housekeeping of Factory Building including machine & equipment, dormitory, production site, storage site if any, conforming to Building and MOM requirement.
Ø Plan and manage the optimal use of production space taking also into consideration
Ø Implementation of 5S
Ø Authorities requirements, fire issues and safety, with 0 tolerance for safety lapses
Ø Ensure quality control is carried out at all stages of production and delivery.
Ø Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and ISO.
Ø Ensure minimal complaints about defective products delivered to site.
Ø Ensure that warehouse has sufficient ready-to-go stock for turnaround of materials
Ø Manage and control fleet of logistic vehicles under delivery section
Ø Manage workers keeping in line to MOM requirements.
Ø Manage and provide solutions to operational problems to improve and better manage schedule.
Ø Attend site meetings or liaison with client to adhere to schedule and quality.
Ø Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ø Preferably with at least 8 years working experience in metal works and fabrication
Ø Excellent technical and production management
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
