Areas and Scope of Responsibilities:
- To ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations for infrastructure and bio-medical equipment in SingHealth Polyclinics
- To support FM Manager to ensure that FM Section and BME Section functioned effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure the codes of practices and industry best practices is implement into the FM Section and BME Section.
- Monitors and takes required actions to improve plant equipment operating efficiencies by tracking downtimes, job completion times and durations.
- Manages facilities & bio-medical equipment incident investigations and recommends systems and process improvements.
- Supervise R&R, upgrading and renovation projects for SHP.
- Ensures adherence to various governmental laws, codes regulations as related to plant operations and facilities.
- Assist to develop formal budget plans of costs; interprets variances; and identifies and initiates corrective actions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering/ related fields preferably with experience of more than 3 years or FM related /Diploma in Engineering with experience of more than 7 years
- Preferably a Registered Fire Safety Manager
- Knowledge of related mechanical & electrical, building, communication, etc. systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, esp. Words, Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Good Team Player
