Job Description
- Prepare and review the design of the Electrical Works, such as equipment sizing, cable sizing and voltage drop calculation, power system study, etc.
- Develop cost estimates for electrical equipment and electrical works.
- Develop the work schedule and coordination of the project works to ensure project is on schedule.
- Attend to FAT, supervision of the delivery, installation and testing and commissioning of electrical works.
- Handle and resolve all site technical relating matters.
- Prepare, review and assist in subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
- Prepare all relevant checklist for Installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
- Assist and collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.
- Attend to clients’ comments and ensure clients’ approval & acceptance to all Electrical Works related design, installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
Requirement
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Working experience in water or wastewater
- industry will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduate is welcome.
- Experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of the electrical works e.g., high voltage system,
- low voltage distribution system, transformers, motor starters, motors, cabling works, earthing and lighting protection system, small power and lighting system, etc.
- Good technical knowledge in understanding the Electrical System.
- Well versed in BIM software i.e. Bentley and Navisworks
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
