Primary Responsibility:
·Manage and handle BYD Vehicles, New Energy System and related equipment technical and Engineering issue. This include but not limited to:
a. Managing and lead in handling BYD Vehicles, New Energy System and related equipment technical and Engineering matters.
b. Engineering, pre-sales, aftersales and project support such as
a) Life cycle cost calculation & proposal.
b) Assist in technical support, with different departments & HQ BYD.
c) Test and inspection requirements before handing over to customer & after-sales.
d) Manage integrated logistics support requirements for the stated system such as spares, training, tools/special equipment, manual, catalogue etc.
e) Manage their technical and Engineering RAMSS (reliability, availability, maintainability and sustainability and safety). Trend reliability, improve availability, maintainability, sustainability and safety through study, analysis, review etc.
f) Diagnostic, resolve and improvement to the system failures and faults that occurred to these systems.
g) Point of contact for sub-contractors for these systems.
h) Point of contact to authority and HQ BYD. Ensure regulatory compliance. Work closely and keep constant communications with engineering and technology units from Headquarters (HQ) in ShenZhen, China for continuous improvement and enhancement to these systems.
i) Monitor, update and improve this system work procedure etc.
j) Manage claims and warranty issues for these systems. Deal with distributors and customer on complaints, improvement etc. as might be required.
k) Any other duties assigned by immediate superior with respect to these system’s Engineering and related scope of work.
Others (auxiliary)
·Training and training instruction. Assist to conduct training for BYD Products, this includes by not limited to:
a. Assist in conducting of product training for BYD.
b. Assist to conduct all BYD technical/engineering training courses as per directed by your supervisor. This includes internal and/or external, technical and/or product training for both internal and external customers, new model/product training for technical staff, Sales & Workshop staff for all BYD equipment etc.
c. To attend all courses as per directed by your supervisor whether locally or overseas and deliver the knowledge to participants instructed by BYD.
Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years' of working experience in automotive field.
- Possess Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Prefer to possess ACLP cert.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English in order to liaise with colleague from HQ China.
- Only local, Singaporean is welcome.
