Overview:
An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Transfer Pricing professional to play a significant role in the growth of our Tax business unit. As a crucial member of the management team, you will enhance client experiences, drive team success, and manage the transfer pricing portfolio for our financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on Singapore and international tax affairs, particularly on pricing implications for transactions between related parties and overall tax implications.
- Guide clients in complying with transfer pricing rules and in formulating comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies based on OECD and Singapore guidelines.
- Work closely with international clients to align their transfer pricing policies with their business models.
- Conduct functional analysis interviews, benchmarking studies, and analysis for transfer pricing documentation.
- Offer planning advice based on OECD and Singapore TP Guidelines.
- Coordinate with global network firms on client issues and strategies.
- Lead regional and/or global transfer pricing projects, ensuring effective project management.
- Manage transfer pricing audits and regional TP projects.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to deliver transfer pricing solutions to multinational clients, especially in the financial services sector.
- Lead the team in functional analysis, industry research, benchmarking studies, and applying these insights to client strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Review client agreements and documents for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, managing transfer pricing engagements effectively.
- Build strong relationships with clients, professional networks, and internal teams.
- Engage in additional projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Law, Finance, Tax, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of Transfer Pricing experience, preferably in the Asia-Pacific or Europe regions, in a professional services environment.
- Experience in Transfer Pricing with Financial Services or Financial Transactions is preferred.
- SCTP accreditation is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with OECD and Singapore TP guidelines.
- Proven project management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (preferred) and ability to work effectively at all levels.
- Strong team player.
